Inside Persuasive Presentations 2.0
Don’t underestimate the importance of being able to present well in front of a group. One of the quickest ways to freeze your progress up the corporate ladder is to foul up a big presentation, or shy away from giving one at all!
That’s why we’ve developed the “Persuasive Presentations 2.0 Workshop.” Since our target audience consists primarily of sales people and executives (with limited amounts of time), we packaged the content into a high quality, video-assisted online workshop, as well as a one and a half to two day, live workshop.
Through the power of video, we can communicate more information in a more effective manner and in a much shorter amount of time. The medium also allows you to learn more quickly by seeing others work through similar challenges. You’ll be able to see how they use the “8 Habits of Highly Persuasive Presenters” to develop highly persuasive presentations.
Tests have shown that using multimedia (rather than print) to communicate raises the retention rate by two and half times. You retain more for a longer period. And the liberal use of humour, served up by one of Canada’s most well-loved comedic actors, makes the atmosphere more relaxed and lowers the anxiety level.
Fred (Jackson Davies, star of Canada’s longest running series, “The Beachcombers”) takes us on a journey through the trials and tribulations of mounting his own presentation. He comes up against all the usual pitfalls and a few of the “unusual” variety.
Mary, on the other hand, is a more polished presenter, but is up against a complicated challenge. You’ll see how they incorporate each of the 8 Habits in the development of a presentation that focuses on achieving a specific objective.
The online version consists of three main elements:
- Video modules – one for each habit – they demonstrate the use of the habit
- Workbook materials and exercise templates that give you the in-depth skills information and allow you to build your own presentation based on the 8 Habits
- Audio support to help you work through the simple exercises. And you’ll be able to access any of this material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Powerful, flexible, fun. That’s Persuasive Presentations 2.0. For more information, give us a call or visit our website at www.presentationsforbusiness.com.
