    Whew. Some of my talks are full day events. At one hour per minute… that’s A LOT of practice.

      Haha – one hour a minute is what they say in Toastmasters—or, at least, that’s where I think I heard it. I’ve heard it several times. You’re right, nobody has time to rehearse one hour per minute and you don’t have to.

      I say Bob Gray speak this week at the NSA convention in Philadelphia (he’s a Canadian out of Toronto). You can use his method as well to remember key points in your talk. I’m going to add a line to the text article for this video.

      There are lots of tricks that work really well like this – you can Google memory recall techniques – like loci, where you walk through your house, for example, and see images on the wall … very powerful.
