A writeup on the topic is on my wordpress blog as the last item under Politics (Repeal 40B)

I’ve written, contributed to, and edited books for (good grief) around 40 years, starting at Digital Equipment Corp. and running through roles involving marketing management, product management, sales training, entrepreneurial ventures, raising capital, selling investments and providing educational background for technical and economic topics at national and international meetings. I have been amused to find a picture online of Bill Gates’ copy of a book I wrote (Introduction to Programming) and am tickled to be involved with publishing of all sorts. Dear friends of mine own DAW Books in NYC, so I’ve had an interest in the market for “books” for a long time. I think publishing eBooks is a great approach these days, as long as you have good editors and graphic help. The value of a publishing house was always in its editors as much as its distribution channels. Anyway, I’d be delighted to talk with you about your upcoming book.

      Mary:
Thanks so much for the comment and kind thoughts about the book. I did look you up on linkedin and you come pretty highly recommended. So, I’m not without some interest regarding your offer.

Here’s where I am: Trying to finish my 52 two minute videos that are a product in themselves and morph pretty quickly into book 1, “The Essentials of Business Presentations.” While I started with “Romancing the Screen” as book 1, it’s now been knocked back to book 2. Hoping to have book 1, draft 1 somewhere around beginning of September.

Everyone seems to love the title (Romancing …) and hopefully I can meet their expectations with the content …. lol.

Your timing is bang on for the first book …. I’ll be looking for an editor shortly. Let’s stay in touch.
      Peter
